Dr. Dimopoulos is a full-time neurosurgeon with Cayuga Medical Associates and is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester. He has completed a spine fellowship at University of Miami and has a strong passion for the treatment of spine disease and a special interest in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Dimopoulos also treats brain and spinal tumors, in addition to performing a broad range of cranial neurosurgery. He graduated from the University of Patras School of Medicine, after which he fulfilled his mandatory military service as a flight surgeon in the Hellenic Air Force in Greece. Dr. Dimopoulos completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Rochester and a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the University of Miami. He most recently led the minimally invasive spine program at the University at Buffalo and has more than 40 research publications.
